The line is rarely where the problem is.
Facial ageing is largely a loss of structural support—and the visible line usually appears somewhere other than where the loss occurred.
Filling the line directly is the most common error in aesthetic medicine. It produces a face that looks full in the wrong places while still reading as tired. Restoring support where volume was actually lost—often the midface, temples or jawline—addresses the cause, and the line softens as a consequence rather than as a target.
Proportion is the goal.
More product does not produce a better result past a point that arrives sooner than most people expect.
We plan in stages: treat, let it settle, reassess, add if the result calls for it. Hyaluronic acid integrates over two to three weeks, and the face at week three is not the face at day one. Staging costs an extra visit and removes the most common regret in this field.
Hyaluronic acid can be undone.
It is the reason we work almost exclusively with it.
If placement is not right, hyaluronidase dissolves it. That reversibility is a genuine safety margin, and it is why permanent or semi-permanent fillers do not form part of our practice—a result you cannot undo is a result you had better get right the first time, every time.
